About Us

Skillabee is an initiative to provide inclusive learning spaces for all.

We are here. We are available. Whether you use words or not, we will listen, whether you use signs or drawings, we will see, we will feel your presence and embrace you with the dignity that is your right.  Our process begins where the child is.  With compassion and empathy as our permanent companions, we provide both neurotypical children and young adults with disabilities with a space to learn, enjoy, discover and make friends.

The ARTS have been a language for communication even before man learnt the alphabet. Through music, movement, roleplay, storytelling and creative art we invite you to build inclusive spaces for ourselves and our children.

THEATRE, I believe is a transformative tool and has the power of a mirror. My question to you is this, are our children free to play or do the shackles of conformity to what is considered a “good” or “bad” child, hamper free play? To become a part of the world we must be free to taste it, see it, touch it, smell it. Theatre is a powerful vehicle of creative engagement that should be a part of every child’s growing up.

At Skillabee, we encourage children and young adults to experience this freedom which leads to development of a robust self-identity and uninhibited free expression.

Building a culture of Inclusive theatre has been a dream which I now offer to you. Come let us play!
